Account Executive - HVAC Sales Service
Job Summary:

A leading mechanical services provider is seeking an Account Executive to join its team. This role reports directly to the Service Sales Manager and is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and providing customized maintenance solutions. The ideal candidate will be skilled in consultative selling, with a strong understanding of HVAC commercial services and a proven ability to drive revenue growth.

This position requires a motivated sales professional who can effectively communicate service offerings in person and over the phone, tailored to each client’s mechanical and building systems. The goal is to provide customers with reliable, cost-effective solutions while fostering long-term business relationships built on trust.

Key Responsibilities: Prospect and develop new business opportunities within assigned markets through cold calling, networking, site visits, and industry events. Generate and manage leads, focusing on planned maintenance agreements and service solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to identify business development opportunities and support sales efforts. Assess customer needs and provide service recommendations that align with their operational and financial goals. Deliver engaging presentations to prospective clients, effectively communicating value propositions. Prepare and review client proposals, ensuring accuracy in financial and technical aspects while adhering to company pricing models. Achieve sales targets by expanding market share and maintaining profitability within defined margin levels. Maintain strong customer relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts. Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention. Manage time effectively by prioritizing tasks and balancing client interactions with administrative duties. Other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager. Qualifications: High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the HVAC commercial service industry. At least 5 years of successful sales or technical field experience. Demonstrated ability to develop and close sales while building lasting client relationships. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM tools. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client visits. Physical Demands: Regularly required to sit, see, talk, hear, walk, and use hands to operate office equipment. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. may be required. Frequent movement within office, warehouse, and client field locations. Work Environment: Office-based role with frequent field visits to client sites, including construction environments. Some exposure to mechanical rooms, rooftop units, and active job sites may be required.
