Job DescriptionFreshworks is looking for a Mid-Market Account Executive to join our growing sales organization. As an Account Executive in our Mid-Market segment, you'll play an essential role in expanding our footprint and driving business growth through our Employee Experience (EX) solutions. Your focus will be on delivering tailored solutions, nurturing relationships with buying teams, and managing moderate-length sales cycles with empathy and strategic insight.
Key Responsibilities:
Consultative Sales Education: Develop and implement sales strategies that are personalized for mid-market customers, delivering impactful solutions in ITSM, employee onboarding, and engagement. Pipeline Development: Identify, qualify, and connect with prospects, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities through thoughtful discovery and virtual sales efforts.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with buying teams, building trust, influencing decision-making, and fostering long-term relationships.Deal Management: Manage moderate-sized deals, focusing on building consensus, negotiating terms, and closing agreements with care and considerationCollaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams like Marketing, Solutions Engineers, and Customer Success to create a seamless and positive customer experience from start to finish.QualificationsAt least 3 years of experience in SaaS or mid-market sales, with a proven ability to achieve results while maintaining a supportive, customer-centric approach Strong skills in discovery, negotiation, and virtual selling, with an emphasis on building trust and delivering valueKnowledge of SaaS products, specifically in Employee Experience (EX) platforms, including tools for onboarding and engagementA consultative, adaptable, and strategic approach to customer engagements that puts the needs and goals of clients firstA customer-first mentality, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment while balancing a focus on both people and performanceAdditional InformationThis role is based in the Boston Metro Area, and the expected base salary range for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Compensation Package
$92,700 - $133,000 Base Salary. This role is also eligible for variable compensation.
Please note this is a hybrid role that requires an in-office presence 3x/ week (Tues-Thur).
