**Position Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Account Executive OR Senior Account Executive to join our savvy and collaborative Food & Beverage portfolio. As a key player on our team, you will bring an understanding of agriculture, sustainability, and food systems communications, with an awareness of the unique challenges and opportunities shaping today's food and agriculture landscape. In this role, you’ll help drive key initiatives to elevate our clients’ presence in the food and ag space, delivering impactful and integrated corporate communications. From crafting compelling stories that highlight sustainability efforts in agriculture to driving media relations and executive visibility for food clients, you’ll have a chance to make a tangible impact in one of the world’s most vital industries.

**The Role**
+ Lead execution and support planning of client programs in a timely, efficient and high-quality manner under the direction of an Account Manager or higher-level supervisor.
+ Support in developing and executing highly creative media relations programs directed at food and beverage and other trade media nationally
+ Develop and edit written materials including press releases, pitches, digital content and general client correspondence.
+ Coordinate all aspects of event execution, including media relations efforts, vendor coordination, and staffing.
+ Support the development of communications content and messaging targeted to multiple audiences, including farmers, sustainability stakeholders, consumers, corporate executives, and policy-makers.
+ Generate ideas for programs that map to client objectives and conduct relevant research.
+ Assess industry trends and identify/evaluate opportunities that amplify client priorities.
+ Manage third-party spokespersons from contract negotiations to program implementation.
+ Produce communications results that support client goals
+ Develop and manage timelines for multiple projects
+ Represent our clients among outside organizations and vendors
**Qualifications**
+ Proactivity and accountability in your work with an eye for detail.
+ Solid client relationship skills and a solution-oriented approach to work.
+ Strong written and verbal skills, confident style in communicating with clients, and a proven ability to effectively organize and manage multiple tasks.
+ Exhibit independence with respect to their responsibilities and a deep understanding of the clients, accounts, and industry.
+ Ability to work well within a team environment, motivate staff and be effective under pressure.
+ Positive, professional and flexible attitude.
+ Passion for sustainability and awareness of industry trends.
+ Minimum of two - four years professional communications experience required
+ Experience working with food and beverage clients on the agency side preferred
+ Media relations experience required
+ Relevant background working with food, beverage and nutrition clients and media preferred
+ Bachelor’s degree required

The anticipated salary range for an Account Executive position is $54,000-$68,000.
The anticipated salary range for a Senior Account Executive position is $58,000-$82,000.
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off and/or other benefits also are available.
