Account Executive Perfume and Beauty, US Travel Retail

Context

You will report to the Area Manager.

 

Global mission

As Account Executive, you will ensure excellence of Image in Point Of Sale and in Magasin Hermes in Travel Retail, manage and motivate Beauty Consultants, train and convey the Hermes excitement to all different sales team, manage Travel Retail operations.

 

Main responsibilities

Excellence of Image in retailer POS and in Magasin Hermes

Ensure excellence of execution of the permanent image of Hermes for all types of distribution in Travel Retail (Hermes stores, personalised space, generic stores) following the strategy defined by the Area Manager

Anticipate and implement the Visual Merchandising guidelines following the marketing plan, including: order and set up of visuals, POSM, planogram and definition of the stock needs per each store

Prepare and implement the store opening or refits

Ensure excellence of execution of the animation in POS, outside or at counter, following the trade plan recommendation done by the trade marketing manager

Manage and motivate Beauty Consultants

Define the skills of the BCs needed in function of the business strategy 

Recruit BC according to the Hermes expectations (values, team spirit...)

Train, integrate, empower the BC and create a strong team spirit with the other BCs and with the store management

Share objectives, evaluate and animate team and individuals to ensure sales performances. Define local incentives

Optimise and validate BCs shifts together with agency and shop management

Coach and ensure the excellence of service

Define profile and recruit of the promotors team for animation. Set and share target. Define incentive

Budget follow up on BC and promotors investment (define commissions amounts and bonus per BCs to the office in charge of payroll, temporary promotors invoices vs planning…) Ensure the partnership with agencies

Train and convey the Hermes excitement to all different sales team

Learn and integrate all the training modules provided by international training and work in collaboration with the international trainer to be able to deliver local training to all the local sales staff (BC, Hermes staff, promotors & generic staff)

Identify needs, set up local trainings with store managers and train the different sales population (see before) according to the marketing innovation calendar

Organise the yearly Travel Retail seminar in coordination with the training department

Feedback to the Area Manager and international trainer your training activities and report needs or best practice of competition

Manage Travel Retail Operations

Verify the customer orders in coordination with Area Manager

Make sure all the requested POSM is ordered

Coordinate with logistic team in France and customer

Make twice a year the POSM forecasts

Manage the expenses and budget related to the TR activity

Sell out analysis & focus 

 

Profile

You have a first experience in commerce/retail.
