Job Summary
Maintain and grow the client relationship by facilitating communication and collaborating with Spectrum Health to resolve any client issues or problems. Provides ongoing expertise and training to client on the usage and availability of laboratory products and services. Identifies opportunities to introduce clients to new products and services to generate incremental revenue for Spectrum Health's laboratories.
Essential Functions
Respond effectively to client issues and/or inquiries and resolve any issues to the extent possible. Conduct continuing education of client office staff as appropriate, as well as educate physicians and office staff on new products and services. Schedule and conduct client courtesy calls and support activities.Develops and implements strategic plans for each account consistent with organization’s mission. Main objective is to retain and grow the client relationship and revenue, build strategic accounts and improvement service to clients. Identify opportunities to sell new products and replace other vendors. Report opportunities, challenges and activity for each account quarterly to manager.Represents interest of and perspective of clients in team meetings and planning sessions. Strategizes issues and opportunities with other Spectrum Health staff to incorporate client perspective in Spectrum Health’s Goals and objectives. Participates in other internal Spectrum Health Committees to help achieve company and client goals where appropriate.Role model effective account management to stimulate improvement in overall account management strategies. Participates in improving the level of communications to better differentiate Spectrum Health laboratory from the competitive market.Engages laboratory clients of Spectrum Health to demonstrate value of Spectrum Health laboratory products and services. Maintains ongoing consultative relationship with current clients to promote the sale of new tests and services and generation of incremental revenue. Develop sales strategy and action plan to promote new products to client base. Demonstration of quota achievement.Maintain complete, up-to-date, and accurate account management and sales activity database (Sales Force) on clients, and submit reports on a regular basis as requested.Completes all required compliance and SHLI training by the respective due dates.
QualificationsRequired Bachelor's DegreePreferred Bachelor's Degree medical technology or a health related field5 years of relevant experience laboratory or healthcare account management RequiredLIC-Driver's License - State of Michigan requiredCRT-Medical Technologist, Certified (MT) - ASCP American Society for Clinical Pathology preferred
