The Electronic Gases Account Sales Manager role will be responsible for growing sales revenues and profits specifically working with semiconductor and solar companies. Duties include planning, pricing and developing competitive intelligence and coordination with other internal groups to ensure alignment of account strategies and market objectives.
The Electronic Gases Account Sales Manageris accountable for maintaining and expanding profitable contracts with several important accounts in a customer market/industry segment and geographic area. The Electronic Gases Account Sales Manager will develop, maintain, coordinate and leverage relationships accounts that resulting in new business and growth opportunities and improved profitability. The Electronic Gases Account Sales Manager works under limited supervision, with guidance in only the most complex situations. The Electronic Gases Account Sales Manager will exercise independent discretion and judgment in developing recommendations relative to the pricing of sales however strong communication and coordination skills are required as decisions effect the business segment as a whole.

· Develops sales plans for assigned accounts to meet both Linde Electronics group business objectives and customer satisfaction objectives. Maintains and increases existing and new revenue streams and profitability.
· Maintain and develop successful customer specific plans and account management to further differentiate Linde from the customers is a key component to being successful in this position.
· Execute price increase initiatives to manage territory profitability.
· Develop and implement plans for increased penetration of key semiconductor markets serviced by Linde EG products including key end user accounts and OEM’s.
· Identify and qualify new and existing customer opportunities and turn them into sales and profit growth within assigned territory.
· Called upon to solve complex customer problems by taking a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions.
· Monitors competitive activity and ensures appropriate response strategy.
· Collect data on competitive products, pricing and market activities.
· Manage customer product supply and other agreements.
· Provide data to the product manager for marketing actions to defend and take market share.
· Manage the customer and prospects internally by interfacing with Linde customer service, quality, engineering, operations, and finance groups.
· Understanding, utilizing, and extracting the value with the customer and/or prospect for Linde Electronics group leading safety position, plants capabilities, broad product portfolio, extensive quality programs and resources, engineering, logistics, stocking, and delivery.
· Develop expert understanding of product specifications, design, configuration, product performance and applications.
· Identify applications sectors where the products have true market potential, develop and understand key customer requirements and establish product benefits over the competition, to lead in the development of markets and growth of profitable sales.
· Support Sales organization with product and proposal presentations.
· Prepare customer proposals for major product quotation.
· Manage the maintenance of market and customer profiles and personally participate in establishment and continuity of strategic contacts at key customers to accumulate strategic market intelligence and promote Linde products.
· Identify applications sectors where the products have true market potential, develop and understand key customer requirements and establish product benefits over the competition, to lead in the development of markets and growth of profitable sales.
· Manage product initiatives such as customer product evaluations, new product launches and product promotions.
· Participate in establishing consolidated forecasts for orders and sales. Monitor performance against goals regularly.
· The single point of resolution for customers’ needs for the assigned market/industry segment and/or geographic area accounts.
· Develop tactical objectives and implement actions for product promotion programs. Coordinate the administration of associated product promotional activities.
· Assesses an issue from many different perspectives and arrives at a decision that is in the best overall interest of Linde.
· Implements the introductions of new applications and products at assigned and competitor accounts to grow business. Recognizes focused marketing opportunities, matches current proposed offerings with account needs.
· Responsible for managing the territory customer accounts A/R.
· Liaise with relevant EG departments to ensure optimized delivery performance of EG products, supporting the implementation of after-sales support policy and services.
· Accountable for the financial translation of decisions, planning and strategies. Measures results and provides this information to management.
· Support all members of the Electronics Sales Team.
· Participates with the Global marketing organization by providing support and information.
· Support Director Electronics Product Sales, Electronics Division.
