The Account Manager, Lab Water, is responsible for promoting and selling our Lab Water hardware, consumables, and services within the scientific community, focusing on life sciences research, bioelectronics, and biopharmaceutical engineering from lab to pilot-scale. You will provide valuable solutions through our product and service portfolio to empower the scientific community. The role will be based in Singapore, and reporting to Head of Lab Water, SEA. 

 

Your Role 

In this dynamic and rewarding team environment, you will develop new business opportunities and collaborate with customers to address their challenges. A deep understanding of market dynamics, trends, and customer application needs is essential for optimizing sales and introducing new products in growth segments. You will assist marketing colleagues with effective new product launches to drive adoption and gather customer feedback for improvements. Your responsibilities will include managing and nurturing customer relationships through active sales activities and innovative programs to ensure high retention and repeat business. You will also expand outreach to untapped markets for potential growth opportunities to increase market share and stay ahead of the competition. 

Consistently achieve or exceed targets set by leadership. 

Develop and implement a territory growth plan aligned with the sales strategy. 

Manage stakeholder effectively. 

Maintain technical and application competence to provide value to customers. 

Enhance influence within the scientific community. 

 

Who You Are 

Bachelor’s degree in science or relevant scientific or engineering discipline. 

Minimum of 7 years of direct technical sales experience. 

More than 5 years of product marketing within a commercial service-oriented environment 

Good understanding of hospital and clinical cluster and pharma industries. 

Experience working in a sales/marketing organization providing forecast and sales plan. 

Ability to establish strong partnership with internal and external partners. 

Proven achievements to gain market share. 

Resilient and able to work under pressure. 

Driven, curious and results-oriented team player. 

Excellent presentation and communication skills.
