Who you are:

The Account Executive for our Account Management team is responsible for managing some of our most critical and long-term clients at QTS. You will spearhead all renewals and upsells as well as any technical, process and billing questions.

You will manage and grow your customers by establishing strong partnerships through tackling complex problems and finding effective solutions.

What you will do:

Achieve sales quotas and retention goals through development of personal relationships with existing customersAct in the best interest of each customer and ensure customer satisfaction by proactively addressing customer issuesIncrease focus on retention and on-going customer satisfaction as a means to protect and grow revenue baseParticipate in a working environment that supports team-based selling channels (i.e. professionalism, respect, open communication etc.)Ensure complete and accurate information is captured in Salesforce.com CRM systemParticipate in campaigns designed to support the goals and objectives of the Account Management departmentParticipate in sales programs, which include training, sales blitzes, product sessions, etc.Work effectively with other departments to insure smooth flow of information and a cooperative inter-departmental environment

What you will need to be successful:

Three or more years of related IT sales experience with an emphasis on solution selling preferably within the data center spaceExperience with Salesforce or other CRMBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experienceAbility to be flexible and adapt to changing situations at a high growth company
