We are seeking a seasoned Account Manager to join our Professional Liability Team. This strategic advisor role will play an integral part in developing cohesive relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with demonstrated success in servicing new and existing accounts and supporting Producer-led business efforts.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Support the Producer in developing new business opportunities for existing clients and prospectsInitiate renewal process for existing clients, and discuss and create renewal strategy with the ProducerAnalyze and compare current exposures and develop renewal or new business specifications for marketingConducts marketing, negotiate rates, review quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracyReviews and summarize marketing results and prepare proposalsFinalize proposals and presentations in coordination with the ProducerBinds insurance coverage and prepares binders and/or delegate certificate issuanceReview policies for accuracy and transmittalRequirements & Qualifications:
1-3 years’ experience of Professional Liability / Commercial Lines client management experienceValid P&C licenseCollege degree preferredIndustry specific designations preferred - CISR, ARM or similarProficient in insurance agency management systems, AMS 360 and Work Smart preferredExtensive knowledge of Commercial Lines underwriting, coverage, rate analysis/procedures & experience reportingAbility to clearly articulate these products/plans to clients and underwriters, including compliance and legislative informationAt Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off and paid holidays for eligible employees. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $63,000 - $70,000. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
