Account Manager

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Account Manager will be responsible for lead generation, client onboarding, proposal building, and relationship management for an assigned geography. This role will act as the client advocate and will work with internal departments to ensure that client needs are understood and satisfied by each department to improve the overall client experience.  The Account Manager will secure and grow revenue within the portfolio as the primary role focus.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 base + commission

Location: Field based in Houston, TX

Auto Allowance: As part of our auto allowance reimbursement program, you will be eligible to receive a fixed bi-weekly contribution, in addition to monthly variable mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities:

Grow revenue in assigned market by both securing new clients via cold calling, cross selling with other Valet Living entities, pursuing referrals, and analyzing available market data, as well as growing share-of-wallet revenue within existing accountsActively meet with and communicate with clients, ensure their needs are understood, and explain our service value to improve the client experienceBuild and deepen the client relationship based on trust and respectCollaborate with our internal departments to ensure they are fulfilling all client requestsManage and resolve any client issues or complaintsFind solutions and improved processes across departments to ensure a positive client relationshipPrepare proposals, bids for projects, and coordinate the successful handoff of new work to the field service teamDrive the adoption of Annual Price AgreementsPromote and educate property staff on new service offerings from Valet LivingApply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to drive results and ensure maximum quality of serviceApply effective problem-solving skills to resolve client complaints or needsRepresent our organization at industry-related trade shows and exhibitsAct in accordance with organizational and quality standardsOrganize work and determine resources and requirementsEnsure agreement on job scope and service protocols in new community launchesUpdate community managers on overall company plans, process improvements, or new service capabilities.Drive to properties within the assigned district up to 50% of the workdayBuild client rapport through monthly office visitsPerform other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent required, AA degree or higher preferred2-3 years strong experience and history of success in a transactional sales environment preferredStrong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with different types of customersExceptional analytical skillsStrong time management and multi-tasking skillsAdvanced negotiation and motivational skillsAbility to build rapport and collaborate with othersProficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SalesforceExceptional work ethic, integrity, and accountabilityAbility to perform effectively in environments with frequent workload changes and competing demandsExceptional verbal and written communications skills with superior interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a variety of audiencesAbility to adapt to technology platforms

Physical Requirements and Special Conditions of Employment:

Ability to walk distance of our client properties, including up/downstairs, bend at waist and/or knees and lift arms at/over shoulderAbility to work outdoors and be exposed to hot and cold temperaturesSedentary work that involves sitting/standing while and working on a computerValid driver license and good driving recordFlexibility to be available during irregular hours depending on business needs

The final compensation offered will be determined based on various factors, including the candidate's location, level of experience, and skill set. As such, it may fall outside the range listed above.
