Purpose of Role: The account manager will be responsible to develop and manage sales activities for specific customers in Northern Nevada region for the purpose of achieving sales growth targets, building strong customer relationships, and establishing ESCO as a “Value Added” leader in the market place.  This individual will call on assigned accounts as well as search out greenfield business to sell and service all products in the ESCO pipeline of products through regularly scheduled on site visits.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve Sales Targets & Account Growth: Attain or exceed annual sales forecasts, develop new accounts, and maintain customer relationships to ensure ongoing, profitable sales growth.

Product Knowledge & Representation: Demonstrate expertise in ESCO products and uphold company objectives and policies while contributing to product improvement and market strategies.

Customer Service & Problem Resolution: Provide professional customer support, address immediate issues, supervise repair/maintenance, and manage vendor relationships as needed.

Sales Strategy & Coordination: Collaborate with sales management to develop strategies, initiate new business, and work with various teams on product optimization, market campaigns, and order fulfillment.

Documentation & Feedback: Use the mining equipment database for tracking and analysis, interact with internal teams for repairs and quoting, and participate in product performance feedback and sales planning.

Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field preferred, or 2+ years industry related sales experience in lieu of degree.

Must have experience in sales or manufacturing related to mining.

Must have a clean insurable driving record.

Must be able to travel 80% by company vehicle.

Must be able to utilize an ERP system and Microsoft Office products. Experience with Oracle computer system is a plus.

Position requires MSHA certification (ESCO will provide, if needed).
