Account Manager

Overview:


Established in 1993, Paul Hanson Partners has developed a reputation as an expert in insurance products & related services to the transportation industry. Our Biz Choice Transportation brand has been experiencing continued growth as we’ve become a dominant player in the Last Mile, Middle Mile and Final Mile courier/contractor space writing Auto and GL Liability, Physical Damage, Cargo, Excess, Workers Compensation and Occupational Accident coverages.


Primary Duties

Assist with in/out bound calls

Manage a renewal book of business on a monthly basis

Write new business policies across any of our various Biz Choice programs

Speak with insureds, agents and motor carriers in regards to accounts, policy verification and coverage deficiencies

Document communication and follow ups as needed answering questions/concerns timely for clients

Assist with a number of service policy life cycle items including but not limited to: policy change requests (adds/deletes), billing questions, claims instructions, final audits, pre‐renewal questionnaires, etc.

Meet quality assurance requirements and other key performance metrics

Attend and participate in weekly team meetings


Job Requirements:

Property & Casualty Insurance License

Strong oral & written communication skills

Knowledgeable in Microsoft office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Must be able to have good judgement to make informative decisions when discussing coverage and/or proving insurance guidance

Adhere to employee manual including confidentiality requirements

Comply with Carrier partner service practices & procedures

To assure that Biz Choice is presented in the utmost professional manner when working with insurers, agents, customers, vendors and the community.

Provides general support to the Department Manager and perform additional tasks as needed on projects, etc.

Manage and grow relationships with our insureds and partners

To Treat all employee's with respect and courtesy in regards to all business and personal issues

Desired Skills

Life & Health Insurance License

Willing to obtain within the first 6 months of employment.

Hours Needed

Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm

Work Location

This position has both hybrid and located this position is located at our offices in Napa, Ca.

Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000 a year and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
