GovCIO Media & Research is currently hiring for an Account Manager with strong communication and organizational skills. Candidates should have experience working directly with clients and internal stakeholders, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and working in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment. The Account Manager is proactive, solutions-oriented, and has a strong attention to detail.
This position will be located in the Washington, D.C. region and will be fully remote position.
Responsibilities Project management: Coordinate timelines internally with different implementation teams working on a project; set up and manage Trello boards to ensure internal and external deadlines are met.Relationship management: Work directly with clients to manage sponsored programs, including creating and meeting deadlines, managing expectations, and delivering closing reports.Customer service: Provide a high level of service to clients from kick-off to completion of projects.External Communications: Provide regular updates and communications to clients on project timelines and status of work; work with clients on reviewing deliverables for edits and approvals.Internal Communications: Provide updates and coordinate flow of information internally to make sure all aspects of a project are understood and are moving forward. Work closely with sales team to ensure that expectations are exceeded for clients.Event support: Complete tasks and responsibilities connected to the GovCIO Media & Research and GovCIO events. QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience:
Bachelors Degree and 1-3 years of experience; with at least 1 year of experience working directly with external clientsBasic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent time management and organizational skillsClear communicator, both verbally and in writingCapable of establishing rapport with clientsOriented towards customer service and satisfactionAbility to problem solveDetail drivenComfortable working in a start-up and agile culture Company OverviewGovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT. Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
