Account Manager

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Client & Member Service team at Mercer Administration Services. This role will be based in Wollongong and has a hybrid arrangement.


You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Client Account in regard to Fund Operational matters, whilst acting as the conduit between the client and Mercer to ensure an optimal level of service is always provided.


The position would be well suited to a self-driven individual who has previous experience managing client interactions, internal stakeholders towards delivering within an administration environment.

We will count on you to:

Complete account management related activities e.g. Complex reporting, Client enquires, escalated internal enquiries, Complaints Management Provide operational direction to day-to-day activities including responses to requests for information/service and appropriate record keeping across the team in accordance with policies, procedures, plans and agreed administrative service standardsProduce or facilitate quality SLA standards reporting within agreed timeframesFacilitate and participate in Client Audit reviews as requiredEffectively communicate, liaise and coordinate with Clients and internal stakeholders across all organisational levels, ensuring optimal Client satisfaction when dealing with MercerAssist in identifying opportunities for new business/product growth and opportunities for increased Client retention.Lead a small team of Client Relations and Complaints officers.



What you need to have: 

RG146 qualification, or willing to undertake appropriate trainingDemonstrated skills in building and developing long term client relationshipsHighly advanced communication skills and able to build and maintain relationships with external clients and internal stakeholders.Demonstrated ability in drafting and presenting client reports using PowerPoint, Excel and Word.

What makes you stand out?

Experience in the Superannuation industry working with an administrator or Trustee is preferredExperience leading a small team with a client focus would be beneficial.
