Job SummaryTektronix is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Account Manager to join our team. This candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, driving business growth, and fostering long-term relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the Electronic Test and Measurement or related industries and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, understanding of their business and organization, and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth within assigned accounts. Strategic Planning: Create and implement account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives. Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and providing expert advice on Tektronix products and services. Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for Tektronix. Collaboration: Work closely with internal cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional support and solutions. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, sales activities, and market insights to senior management. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of technical account management experience in the Electronic Test and Measurement industry or a related/adjacent field. Sales Acumen: Demonstrated ability of achieving/exceeding sales targets and business goals with a defined sales process. Communication: Outstanding verbal, written, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Capable of building rapport and maintaining long-term customer relationships. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electronics in Test and Measurement and related industries’ applications. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions. Problem-Solving: Proactive and innovative thinker with the ability to address complex challenges. Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
