Account Manager
Description The primary function of this role is to assist in accelerating the growth of sales in the B2B dietary supplement market and functional food/beverage space with a focus on supporting brands and co-manufacturers. This position will manage smaller accounts and manage product inquiries in the B2B dietary supplement market and functional food/beverages and provide administrative support to all Regional Sales Managers. We are looking for someone who will want to grow into a regional sales manager role focused on growing revenue with our customers. - 50% of the role will be customer support tasks like managing sales teams and regional managers with their customers - 50% of the role will be managing legacy customers for any requests they need, including pricing and helping grow revenue for the company - Supporting clients and sales reps nationwide Personality is key for this role - someone who is willing to learn and will go above and beyond -Maintain and update customer records for data accuracy, assist in preparing sales reports and dashboards, serve as the primary contact for Salesforce-related issues, manage user accounts and permissions, support sales forecasting and pipeline management, and assist with onboarding, training, and system upgrades. -Qualify and manage incoming leads -Submit pricing and regulatory requests and send to customers -Complete required reports and forms, (i.e. weekly summaries, customer call reports, pipeline reports, sample requests, pricing requests, expense reports), accurately and in timely fashion. -Interface with marketing to generate leads, create market driven data, support trade shows. -Foster positive relationships with internal business leaders to ensure open communication between sales, engineering, quality, and customers. -Collaborate with customers, customer service, and operations to meet goals and ensure the best possible service. -Stay current with company developments and product launches. -Demonstrate a desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with the ability to find solutions and deliver results in a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must Haves: - 3-5 years of inside sales experience OR Someone who is in Sales Support for 3-5 years - Microsoft Excel - HS Diploma Nice Haves: - Salesforce.com - Odoo Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00 - Provide Medical, Dental and Vision on Day 1 of employment- They provide other ancillary benefits as well covered by company- 401K - they do not match but looking at matching starting in 2026- EAP- Performance based bonuses for the company- Values and Practice aware - they award this to the employees and there is a bonus tied to it- Quarterly company based performance award nominated by CEO- Monthly VIP award for peer to peer voting - cash bonus Workplace Type This is a hybrid position in Evanston,IL.
