Account Manager
Account Manager Job Description As an Account Manager, you will use your prospecting and follow-up skills with potential customers online, in-person, or on the phone to uncover potential upsells and new clients. You will be responsible for meeting or surpassing the monthly quota for sold business and lead requirements/revenue-generating activities. You will show our solutions to prospects with sales presentations, negotiate deals, and obtain sales contract signatures. Additionally, you will identify and pursue sales leads, prospective new clients, and move them through the sales pipeline from qualification to close stages. Staying on top of market and industry trends to help educate prospects and clients on how we differentiate ourselves is also crucial. Responsibilities + Use prospecting and follow-up skills to uncover potential upsells and new clients online, in-person, or on the phone. + Meet or surpass the monthly quota for sold business and lead requirements/revenue-generating activities. + Show solutions to prospects with sales presentations, negotiate deals, and obtain sales contract signatures. + Identify and pursue sales leads and prospective new clients, moving them through the sales pipeline from qualification to close stages. + Stay informed about market and industry trends to educate prospects and clients on our unique differentiators. Essential Skills + Knowledge or understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic components, systems, and accessories + Account management + Sales + Business Development + Prospecting + Sales administration + Negotiation + Sales presentation + 2+ years of sales experience in industrial/manufacturing equipment, parts, services Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma required + Industry sales expereince or product knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic components, service, and fabrication. + Prefer a minimum of 2+ years in outside sales experience + Team-focused, organized, self-starter with an orientation towards service, detail, problem-solving, and deadlines + Ability to meet and exceed monthly sales quotas Work Environment You will be working in an already established territory in the KC metro area. When not visiting clients, you will be in the office. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
