Account Manager

We are looking for a National Account Manager to join the MU T-Mobile MN Services team. The role will report into the MU T-Mobile MN Head of Services. 

 Family Description

Sales (SA) covers end-to-end sales to customers and advocates customer intimacy. Comprises selling of services and solutions, and building and maintaining relationships with customers and potential customers. Contains management of customers, partners, and accounts while focusing either on a specific target group, specific services, solutions, or a territory.

Subfamily Description

Account & Cust. Relatnshp Mgmt-CSP (RMC) comprises the creation and development of profitable relations with customers (incl. multi-geographic customer businesses) or new businesses through direct customer interface for a profiled customer base by implementing a strategy for a specified customer account, services, or solutions. Contains management of customer interactions and driving of sales for Nokia's offering. Covers building of sales pipeline to grow new businesses in completely new prospects / markets and / or existing markets targeting new revenue streams. Contains conduction of end-to-end business management (sales and delivery) for all customers and opportunities within the responsible scope.

Required Skills 

At least 10 years of telecom sales experience with selling directly or indirectly to Major CSP in the US, T-Mobile US experience preferred.  Knowledge of MN Services portfolio, prior experience in pre-sales, solutions development or sales of MN services required.  Demonstrable experience forecasting and managing opportunities using sCRM. Ability to perform under pressure and excel in a complex selling environment driving consistent strategy across large and sometimes cross-functional business teams.    Proven strategic thinking required to leverage technical, end-user, and industry information to enable Nokia’s success.

It would be nice if you also had: 

Knowledge of Build, deploy and construction services Knowledge of Radio/Antenna design, integration and optimization services Prior experience supporting large customers Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Ability to seize the initiative and lead in the absence of direct supervision

Knowledge & Experience

Typically requires 10+ years extensive relevant experience and/or a graduate / postgraduate equivalent degree.

 

As part of our team, you will:

Be responsible for the sales and Account Management of Nokia Mobile Networks services to T-Mobile US.   Maintains and actively builds an sCRM funnel tracking orders and revenues for all existing and new opportunities. Identifies and develops significant business opportunities by interpreting critical internal or external business drivers such as customer needs, Nokia's portfolio, competitive landscape and customer relationships.  Builds a network and trustworthy relationships with customers and partners to gain customer insights, create a long-term sales strategy and become knowledgeable in strategic business impacts and decision-making processes. Works closely and collaborates with Regional Account Managers to successfully close deals and facilitate setting-up programs for success. Maintains oversight and provides guidance to Delivery teams.  Actively participates in and contributes to pricing strategy and contract negotiations which lead to a positive near to mid-term business impact. Contributes to process / product / service improvement initiatives that help to sustain competitive advantage of Nokia. Acts as a senior sales expert, serves as best practice / quality resource and is an acknowledged authority both within and outside own organizational unit. Travel: up to 30%
