Account Manager
**A Snapshot of Your Day** This position will be located within the North Atlantic Region (Malvern, PA, Charlotte, NC or Richmond, VA) and will be responsible for calling on power plants, utilities, EPC’s and developers with a primary focus on power generation and power generation service. **How You’ll Make an Impact** + This Power System Sales position will own the team responsible for sales of all products and solutions for the different business units within Siemens Energy. Those products and services include power generation services, small and large power, renewable energy solutions (wind, solar, BESS), digital offerings and utility T&D applications. + Develop sophisticated customer strategies and build value propositions by leveraging the cross divisional Siemens portfolio for your customers in the region. This role will also include strategic business development and core account management in the region. + Develop meaningful relationships with key partners, internally and externally. + Be a main contact for customers as part of the platform team. Host regular face to face meetings with customers in both plant and corporate settings. + Forecast opportunities, upsell plant upgrades and manage the sales process and team, from lead to order entry. + Build and maintain strategic account plans for key accounts. Maintain accurate Salesforce.com records. **What You Bring** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Engineering with 5+ years of sales and/or power generation experience. Candidates with more experience may be considered for a higher level. + Experience representing a variety of products in direct sales to Utilities, IPPs, Private Equity, Renewable Developers, and/or Public Power Client Verticals. + Ability to support customers, as needed, outside of traditional working hours. + A strong understanding of the business with prior customer facing experience and proven experience negotiating and closing complex projects. + Ability to travel domestically and internationally, at times up to 30%. + Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
