Position Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for managing a key client category or brand, maintaining long-term relationships with clients, campaign strategy and project management of a high volume of campaigns. The Account Manager will act as a liaison between the client and internal activation and analytics teams to ensure the successful delivery of media products and services that meet client needs. 

Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:  

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.   Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to client needs and media objectives.   Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters.  

Project Oversight:  

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of client projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.   Utilize both internal and external Project Management tools to keep key stakeholders informed.   Ensure the activation team has all elements needed, and on time, to launch.   Coordinate with internal and external teams (e.g., Ulta, Brands, Criteo) to ensure seamless service and performance delivery.   Manage timelines and impact of missed deadlines to delivery.  

Business Acumen:  

Learn and master the client accounts you are supporting, including their unique goals with Ulta.   Identify performance trends and growth opportunities within the accounts you lead. 

Campaign Strategy:  

Oversee and build the cross-channel strategy across onsite display, offsite display, Social, CTV and audio.  Identify opportunities to shift budget between channels, test new channels, and improve performance from prior campaigns.  

Performance Monitoring:  

Monitor performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.   Connect individual campaign reports to identify macro insights and recommendations for your clients.  

Cross-team Management:

A key component of this role is working with cross-agency teams including Activation, Audience and Measurement.   Collaborate and concisely communicate with inter-agency teams.   Deliver campaign briefs, creative assets, and client direction on time and following process.  Be the single point of communication with the client and communicate inter-agency team needs effectively and clearly to clients.   Identify who to pull into workstreams and when they need to be pulled in, aligned with process.  

Required Skills & Experience Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management, client services or media strategy and planning, preferably at a digital or full-service agency.  Successfully managing a high volume of campaigns.  Proven track record of managing large accounts and delivering successful client outcomes.   Experience working on retail and/or with retail media networks is a plus.  

Desired Skills & Experience Experience in a retail/beauty is preferred.   Agency and/or Commerce/Retail media experience preferred.    Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.   Experience managing high volume accounts with frequent, overlapping campaigns (i.e. 10 briefs and launches per week).  Strong client management skills.  Thorough understanding of the digital marketing landscape.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both internally and externally.  Strategic thinker with strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.  Strong business acumen, mastering the accounts you oversee.   Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).   Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
