RSI Logistics, recently acquired by Trinity Industries, Inc is hiring for an Account Manager for our Okemos, MI location.
The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing strong relationships with key clients and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Using client success cycles, promoting client engagement, maintaining positive NPS scores, building profitability and growing client partnerships, this role is focused on understanding client needs, guiding them through our services, and ensuring satisfaction at every step. The Account Specialist leverages data to drive decision-making, improve processes, and maximize client outcomes, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of services. The role involves overseeing the contract process, ensuring invoicing accuracy, driving client retention and growth.
Essential Responsibilities:
Curate client relations and opportunities in accordance with RSI Client Success standards. Contract responsibility – ensure that all client contract services are being followed and assist with contract renewal process. Client invoicing accuracy – review monthly invoices to ensure proper invoicing of services Utilize RSI’s tools to promote and measure client engagement and satisfaction. Perform periodic costing reviews to drive profitability goals. Plan, Identify and drive upsell opportunities from the identify to close deal stage in the sales cycle. Contribute to webinars, blogs and other forms of knowledge sharing information to our client base. Engage in face-to-face visits with clients at their location, and occasional travel to trade shows is required. Use proprietary systems to collect and analyze data and utilize the findings for process improvement, streamlining business processes and cost savings. Work closely with the project team to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project in addition to successful delivery of solutions Ensure that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your assigned client Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key client stakeholders Provides regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations Forecast and tack key client metrics Take ownership of client issues and follow problems through to resolution Develop and enhance service procedures, polices, and standards Mentor and support team members, fostering an environment of collaboration and growth through coaching and developmentEducation & Experience:
Bachelor's degree specializing in Logistics preferred or equivalent work experience. 3PL Experience, client services and advisement preferred. Large account management 3-5 years of relevant experience
