Responsible for administration, strategic planning, and coordination of the sales activity, project execution and account management for the overall success of ABS Canada Incorporated and specifically the Canadian Department of National Defense (Navy) and Canadian Coast Guard clients.
What You Will Do:
Relationship development and management of key individuals and decision makers at assigned clients. Focal point for all survey planning and other class and non-class related service delivery. Oversees the creation, alignment and ongoing management of sales strategies and project execution. Establishes and maintains the primary contact between ABS and assigned clients. Understands client processes, organization, business needs and desired services. Establishes business cases for products and services not currently being utilized. Acts as liaison for the client with all ABS departments. Performs on-site client visits as necessary. Collaborates with ABS Business Development, Operations and Engineering staff to execute assigned client projects. Generates Bureau, Group, Wavesight, Class and Non-Class business leads. Oversees invoicing and accounts receivable for assigned clients. Facilitates and follows-up assigned client needs, concerns and other requests. Monitors and facilitates client satisfaction.Takes corrective action when necessary. Manages expectations of each assigned client. Manages and communicates project status and issues to Global Government, WH Ops, Wavesight and Group. Monitors client support issues from initial notification through resolution and client acceptance. Facilitates timely support issue resolution. Participates in client committees, meetings and other conferences as necessary. Utilizes existing software and services for Client Relationship Management (CRM). Creates and submits timely and accurate reports of client activities. Provides support to ABS consulting, Wavesight and Bureau Operations as necessary.
What You Will Need:
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent from an accredited university, preferably in an engineering/technical discipline, or an equivalent field. Ten (10) years of relevant experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Skills to organize, plan and direct the work activities of professional employees, and to handle multiple ongoing projects. Administrator, specifically in the areas of cost reporting, client billing and revenue forecasting. Knowledge of the unique natures of both software product management and of the maritime industry. Strong client base development skills. An entrepreneurial mentality to recognize and capitalize on new business opportunities. Ability to negotiate agreements with clients concerning scope of work and billing rates. Ability to obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management Systems.Reporting Relationships:
Reports to the Vice President of ABS Canada Inc.
