Account Manager (Automotive)
Job Title: Account ManagerJob Description We are looking to add an Account Manager to assist with selling to clients such as Stellantis, Tesla, and others in the US and Mexico. This role involves tracking RFQs, updating sales reports, and communicating with overseas affiliates via email and phone calls. The position also includes light office administration and phone and email correspondence with Tier 1 and 2 customers. Responsibilities + Track RFQs and update sales reports. + Communicate with overseas affiliates via email and phone calls. + Perform light office administration duties. + Handle phone and email correspondence with Tier 1 and 2 customers. + Investigate and respond to RFQs. + Follow up and assist with securing business. + Set up accounts and review contracts. + Manage and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their needs and objectives. + Address and resolve customer complaints. + Act as the main point of contact between key clients and internal teams. + Develop and manage sales strategies, including creating and implementing plans to retain and grow existing client accounts. + Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. + Provide tailored customer service solutions. + Monitor market trends and identify emerging opportunities for growth. Essential Skills + Bachelor's Degree. + 1+ year of sales experience specifically with Stellantis. + Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and some PowerPoint. + Account Management experience. + Project Management skills. + Order processing knowledge. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 3+ years of experience preferred. + Ability to speak on their network and past experience within Stellantis. + Career-driven individual looking to develop new lines of business. Work Environment Small engineering office, M-F from 8-5. The position offers a hybrid work environment with in-office days typically on Monday and Tuesday. Dress code is business casual. The role involves working in a small team of 3 sales coordinators and supporting 3 Account Managers and a Director. Car allowance and strong forecasts for 2025 are additional benefits.
