A day in the life.

As our Account Manager on the Employee Health & Benefits team, you’ll:

Service and develop accounts.  Responsible for day-to-day service questions for an assigned book of accounts.Work collaboratively with Producer regarding client needs delivering exceptional service to the customer.Actively and effectively manage annual enrollment periods and the implementation of plan changes and coverage transfer.Provide employee communications to clients such as annual benefit enrollment guide, PowerPoint presentations, benefit summaries, enrollment forms etc.Present at Open Enrollment MeetingsSecure and maintain current benefit plan summaries/documents, amendments, etc.Document issues related to clients in document management system.Assist with day-to-day service issues and concerns such as complex service issues, claims, billing, eligibility, enrollment, and coverage issues.  Answer questions regarding plan interpretation and compliance.Follow up with clients, and other team members assigned to the account, on action plans to ensure decisions are implemented, contracts prepared, and appropriate parties are notified.Prepare renewal binders, proposals and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Responsible for updating the agency management system and customer files in the document management system according to agency procedure.Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of: industry, products, ACA, Compliance, Analytical and Financial capabilitiesDemonstrate an ability to prioritize work, work efficiently and accurately.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

Minimum of 2 yrs. experience in the Employee Health & Benefits preferred -- working for an employer, insurer/administrator or broker.Life & Health/Accident License.Utilize problem solving skills in order to develop successful solutions.Ability to navigate through relationships and relate to various levels within the client audience along with the ability to effectively address client expectations.Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and adapt to changing needs in a high production environment.Proven ability to follow through on and successfully execute tasks while adhering to specified quality standards.Advanced knowledge of software applications commonly used on personal computers, such as Microsoft Office applications. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills are required.Ability to operate standard office equipment.
