Account Manager Ford (m/f/d)
We are looking for a driven Account Manager to support our Sales Team to maintain and further grow our business and client relationships.

Main responsibilities:

The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing the business as well as building dependable relationships customer contacts that are key for decision making and influencing according BorgWarners needsThe Account Manager is responsible for the daily maintenance of the Account, works with Engineering and Manufacturing Operations to create and implement strategies for maximizing current business and obtaining new business at the assigned OEM(s)Negotiates product pricing and commercial recovery strategies for all commercially related events ensuring a favorable outcome for BorgWarnerDevelops sales forecasts for use in the LRP and monitors market trends throughout the year for use in monthly forecast adjustmentsProvides global coordination on customer issues where requiredComplies with contract review procedures and BW commercial policiesDevelops (with input from cross-functional teams) and deploys comprehensive customer strategies that improve the profitability and growth.Articulates a clear understanding of our market share, competitive position, and profitability in the assigned accountThe Account Manager utilizes company procedures/tools (SIMS, OCI 2.0, …) and take ownership of monitoring our performance on key supplier metrics and pursuing corrective action plans as appropriateThe Account Manager prepares and shares on a regular base all the requested reporting material

Required Profile:

Bachelor degree in a technical and/or economics fieldMaster degree will be considered as a plusExperience with and understanding of powertrain or cooling systems and componentsProactive personal attitude to work independently and bring assigned tasks to final achievementsStrong negotiation skills and communication skills including the ability to present to customersFluent in English spoken and writtenSkilled in MS Office
