Account Manager

 

Summary of Responsibilities

 Lubrizol is seeking an entrepreneurial sales professional for a combination Business Development and Account Management role in our Engineered Polymers business. In this exciting role you will identify and build new business opportunities for the North America Estane TPU business by becoming a subject matter expert in this space, understanding and developing the marketspace and building strategic relationships with industrial and medical customers to drive profitable growth. Qualified candidates will be hard-working, highly motivated, and have the relentless ability to close accounts using a consultative and solutions-based approach. 

 

Responsibilities

Manage and grow existing accounts in both medical and industrial TPU markets. Develop and execute account strategies and manage key customer programs and opportunities. Build, manage and close a sales pipeline of opportunities at existing and developmental accounts. Own all aspects of the distributor relationship and performance in Mexico. Educate clients on industry related updates and trends through presentations and other educational activities. Build broad in-depth relationships with customer organizations, keeping abreast of competitive activity and market share information. Make recommendations for product mix, supply improvements, pricing, and sourcing. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments and external partners to understand and maximize new business opportunities. Extensive face to face customer interaction and engagement to grow and maintain customer relationships. Provide day to day guidance and support development of sales interns.

 

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree 8+ years of sales experience

 

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of technical / engineering sales and processes Experience in B2B sales environment with emphasis on relationship-building Knowledge and skill with sales software tools such as CRM, Excel, PowerPoint
