The Laboratory Consumables Representative is part of the Laboratory Products Division which unites deep scientific expertise, a collaborative culture and rich resources to deliver the lab equipment and consumables that our customers need to achieve their scientific goals – quickly, reliably and safely. Our smart lab solutions make it faster and easier for our customers to focus on what matters most – delivering answers and innovations that save and improve lives.  The ideal candidate will enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer by providing them with state of the art laboratory consumables solutions.


 

What will you do?

Meet and exceed your assigned geographic territory forecast. This will be accomplished by aggressively pursuing new sales opportunities and by effectively establishing strong business relationships with our current and future client baseTrain and work with our channel partners to develop and close sales opportunitiesSeek out new business potentials for Thermo Fisher Scientifics’ other divisions and engaging all appropriate sales personnel to achieve maximum results for the company in totalPromote Thermo Fisher Scientific’s breadth of product offerings on all sales calls to achieve maximum client solution opportunitiesParticipate as a team member in all assigned corporate and focus account initiativesOther duties as assigned
 

How will you get here?                                                                                              

Minimum Education Required: ​Bachelor’s degree, degree in Life Science preferred2-5 plus years of highly successful laboratory sales experience required, industry and/or academia experience preferredExperience selling through multiple channel partners including direct sales and marketing is desired

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Must have an exceptional understanding of our markets and be knowledgeable of diverse laboratory product applicationsProvide forecasts, weekly reports, marketing intelligence and information to supervisor and other company personnel as the need arisesPossess excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills, and capable of delivering excellent customer servicePossess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines as neededDemonstrate the Thermo Fisher values (The Four I’s) – Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and InvolvementEffective communication, written, verbal, and presentation skillsAbility to work effectively as a team member within a cross-functional team as well as to work independently and handle multiple tasksPosition may require Covid-19 vaccination and/or routine testing, per client discretion. Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Colorado is $63,900.00–$95,850.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
