Job Description

As an Account Manager - Paid Search, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and optimizing paid search campaigns for clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with clients to understand their goals and objectives, develop effective strategies, and drive results through paid search advertising. This role requires a strong analytic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a solid understanding of search engine marketing platforms and techniques. 

Responsibilities:

Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintain regular communication, and build strong client relationships. Provide timely updates, address inquiries, and manage client expectations throughout the campaign lifecycle.Strategy Development: Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, target audience, and marketing objectives. Develop and implement effective paid search strategies and have a strong understanding of how paid search contributes to the full-funnel marketing approachPerformance Tracking & Analytics: Monitor campaign performance regularly, analyze key metrics, and identify opportunities for optimization. Provide regular reports and insights to clients and account teams, highlighting campaign performance, trends, and recommendations for improvement.Budget Management: Monitor and manage campaign budgets effectively to achieve client goals while maintaining cost-efficiency. Allocate budgets based on performance data and client objectives.Industry Knowledge: Keep updated on latest trends, updates, and best practices in search engine marketing and paid search advertising. Share insights and recommendations with key stakeholders and clients to drive continuous improvement.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.Must have 5+ years' of proven experience directly communicating with clients.Must have 2+ years' of proven experience in managing paid search campaigns across platforms like Google Ads & Bing Ads plus a solid technical understanding of Google Tag Manager.Strong analytic skill with the ability to interpret data and communicate actionable insights.Proficiency in campaign management tools, keyword search tools, and analytics platforms.Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong problem solving abilities and a proactive approach to campaign optimization.Accountability, able to own responsibilities and produce desired outcomes. Ability to work autonomously but still remain in sync with larger account teams and customer goals.Familiarity with SEO principles and integration with Paid Search is a plus.Google Ads Certifications or other relevant industry certifications are preferred.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce exceptional work (written, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) independently and efficiently.Ability to excel in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires a fast learner and flexible thinker.Must be able to organize/prioritize existing resources and incorporate new information, as needed, to implement the most effective solutions.Able to mentor junior-level team members in the use of tools and/or systems in the position.Requires a strong understanding of the impact of a message on the organization or customer.

Additional Information

The national pay range for this role is $74,600 to $132,500/ year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
