Position Summary
This Account Manager develops strong personal and collaborative internal and external relationships to manage a book of business as a direct liaison between Meritain, Aetna and SimplePay Health ( Third-party administrator ) to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue, membership, earnings objectives and developing service strategy to ensure renewal and growth of business.

What you will do:

Creates collaborative partnerships to develop a comprehensive growth strategy for assigned book of business that is aligned with customer’s objectives, financial position and employee benefit strategy while providing cross-sell opportunities and profitable revenue and growth.  Executes tactical components of the account team’s business plan for each customer.  Demonstrates proactive ability to diagnose and fix root cause drivers of service problems. Develops and manages service plans in the most proactive and strategic manner possible and finds new and innovate ways to show customers the value of the products and services they have purchased.  Proactively identifies potential service issues and takes steps to resolve those service issues that arise.  Responsibility for ensuring a smooth installation that will be a building block to gaining the trust of key client personnel.


Required Qualifications

3-5+ years sales and/or account management experience.Self-insured/stop loss products experience.Active Life and Health License in state of residence.Proficiency with desktop software applications such as e-mail, Word, PowerPoint, TEAMs, Salesforce.Strong critical thinking, time management and organizational skills.Travel required 10-25% (Possible overnight travel).


Preferred Qualifications

Ideal candidate will have prior experience in a client management role, demonstrated examples of owning/managing complex customer relationships and an operations background. Ability to manage for profitable growth, anticipate and respond to marketplace trends; develop strategies that drive the business; demonstrate cross-cultural sensitivity; integrate financial, marketing, and strategic concepts.


Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience ( HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
