What you'll do:

As an Account Processing Specialist, you'll be responsible at the divisional level for all audit/compliance/policy/procedure controls for AAB Operations tasks, maintaining risk control while supporting the extensive growth of AAB deposits. Responsibilities also include balancing and bank account management and data integrity of deposits and systems used to manage quality control at AAB. Also, serve as a primary resource when responding to audits.

You work with management and the Relationship Banker to correct errors and quickly address risk matters. Identify when additional training is needed and help management identifies opportunities for improvement in processes and systems.

One of your key responsibilities is to build strong partnerships with managers of AAB and help to address learning opportunities for Relationship Bankers and to shape the effectiveness of our customer onboarding, maintenance, and servicing processes. Interact with various bank personnel to communicate, coordinate and resolve concerns with daily Operations Support work processed.

What we are looking for:

Responsible to review documentation and the quality of AAB work and ensure proper filing of supporting documentation, sharing concerns with management, and helping address repeat issuesDaily and timely processing of the reports, ensuring all entries follow bank rules related to compliance and risk controls, and addressing concerns with management.  Communicate concerns with professionalism, remaining focused on specifics and factsMaintains accurate control and accounting of Cashier’s checks, test accounts and related internal control accounts, and suspense accounts and ensures items are cleared and balanced for all accounts daily and certified monthly. Processes ACH Payments by ensuring documents received are complete and accurate, creating scheduled payments, and performing audits on payment entriesPerforms required department certifications and responds to inquiries or refers inquiries to the appropriate department or persons and executes the appropriate follow-through

What you need to have:

A high school diploma is required3+ years of direct, related experience in branch banking operations, accounting, data analytics, and data managementIntermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and other commercial banking products and servicesIntermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practicesStrong speaking & writing skills for internal & external audiences (ex: sales or leadership)
