Job Description: As a US Credit and Collections colleague, you are more than just a voice on the phone, you are an American Express Brand Ambassador. You are a skilled problem solver who looks to provide outstanding service to our Customers while enabling spend and mitigating risks for American Express. Minimum Qualifications: Previous customer/fraud servicing, collections or outside agency experience The ability to work in a fast-paced environment as well as multitask and re-prioritize on a regular basis Display a passion to serve by delivering outstanding service in every interaction with our Customers Ability to demonstrate empathy while being assertive in order to achieve the required outcome Unquestionable integrity with high business acumen Excellent negotiation and influencing skillset Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail Strong interpersonal, communication and listening skills Navigate multiple systems and digital tools to service our Customers Strong flexibility and able to adapt to change Self-motivated and ability to manage time effectively Preferred Qualifications Inbound and Outbound call center servicing experience preferred Financial Literacy Ability to analyze complex account information and make effective decisions in ambiguous situations Demonstrate personal excellence by remaining positive and resilient in difficult situations Build meaningful relationships with our Customers by offering custom solutions, consultative assistance, and first contact resolution to negotiate a positive outcome for the Customer and American Express Assertiveness to handle difficult conversations Self-motivated and ability to manage time effectively Schedule: Business hours of operations are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00a EST. Saturday 8:00am to 6:30pm EST, and Sunday 10:00am to 8:30pm EST. Shift differentials for nights and weekend are provided. Candidates must be flexible as shifts will be provided during the training period. This position will work in a hybrid model with a combination of in-office three days per week and two virtual workdays from home.
