Account Recovery Specialist| $19.96-$22.96 | Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm | Temp to Hire What Matters MostCompetitive Pay of $19.96-$22.96 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am to 5pmLocation: Northwest Houston, TexasTemporary-to-hire opportunity with career growth and stabilityRemote position after 4 weeks of onsite trainingWeekly Pay with direct deposit or pay cardWhen you work through Team1Medical, you are eligible to enroll in dental, vision and medical insurance as well as 401K, direct deposit and our referral bonus program Job Description One of the premier Orthopedics and Pain Management clinics is seeking an Account Recovery Specialist that will provide medical collection services for hospital systems and surgical centers. Submit your resume and see what opportunities are available for you! Responsibilities: Contacts providers for verification of patient records Uploads and maintains data using 3rd party portal accounts such Availity Uses collection tools effectively to ensure quality recovery services and meet or exceed established goals and work standards Documents and updates patient account information in Recovery Cycle Management collection software system timely and accurately to include appropriate account status Handles inbound and outbound patient and/or carrier calls promptly and professionally, providing assistance and resolution to account inquiries, issues, and requests Performs research and analysis of account issues and strives to resolve problems timely and accurately Reviews payment denials, underpayments, and payment take backs for appropriateness and guides resolution by resubmission to the insurance carrier, patient billing, or appropriate adjustment Qualifications and Requirements: Two years of insurance collection experience for hospital accountsKnowledge of health insurance claims, billing, collection and resolution.Knowledge of in and out of network insurances, Workers Compensation, insurance verification, and patient responsibility. Knowledge of interpreting EOBs, posting payments, and adjusting accounts appropriately.Ability to work independently by guiding oneself with little or no supervision.Must have completed High School Diploma or GED. Benefits and Perks: $19.96-$22.96/hr. After 4 weeks of onsite training, position will be fully remote.Once hired on with the organization they offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes three weeks of Paid Time Off, PPO or HMO, and 401k. Your New Organization:Our client is an Orthopedic and Pain Management organization with multiple locations within the Houston and Greater Houston areas with various career growth opportunities. Your Career Partner: Team1Medical, a Reserves Network company, a veteran-founded and family-owned company, specializes in connecting exceptional talent with rewarding opportunities.
