Account Representative

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Austin, Texas. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The role involves reviewing and drafting insurance and reinsurance contracts, managing claims and audits, and ensuring the success of the renewal cycle while maintaining accurate records for reporting and audit purposes. Additionally, it focuses on collaborating with Account Managers to enhance client experiences and build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to drive business retention and growth.

We will count on you to:

Reviews and drafts insurance and reinsurance contracts for Account Managers, focusing on client insurance programs.

Collaborates with Account Managers to enhance business retention and improve client experiences during proposals and renewals.

Manages the review of claims, contracts, and audits, addressing endorsements, policy issuance, extensions, and cancellations, while escalating concerns as necessary.

Ensures the renewal cycle's success by completing renewal protocols, gathering information, tracking quotes, and issuing documents on time.

Maintains accurate records for reporting and audit purposes, processing insurance and claims details into the database.

Builds and sustains relationships with clients, prospects, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and drive growth and retention.

What you need to have:

2+ years of related experience

Microsoft Office proficiency. Knowledge of basic Excel formulas, pivot tables, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Good organization and time management skills to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
