What the day will look like
Aon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our dynamic team. As a member of the Reinsurance Solutions team, you will play a pivotal role in understanding the strategic needs of clients, identifying appropriate reinsurance solutions, and negotiating with partners to deliver impactful risk management strategies. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and some knowledge of insurance.
As part of an industry-leading team, you will play a key supporting role in protecting our client’s assets by developing sophisticated risk management strategies that will enhance financial strength and ensure policyholder claims will be paid when disasters strike.
As an Account Representative you will:
+ Be part of a client account team servicing existing accounts as well as assisting in new business development
+ Support the full lifecycle of reinsurance and other risk transfer transactions assisting in the preparation, marketing, negotiation and completion of deals
+ Analyze insurance risk at a portfolio level in order to advise clients on optimal risk management solutions
+ Coordinate internal resources including analytics, accounting and contracts teams
+ Take a lead role in tracking deal terms including coverage, quotes and authorizations
+ Ensure contract documentation is delivered accurately and in a timely manner
+ Work on multiple projects and accounts simultaneously.
+ Research industry topics and develop content to be shared internally and externally
Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ 1+ years of work experience in Reinsurance, P&C insurance industry or in a related field
+ Works well in a team environment
+ Strong ability to communicate in written and verbal form; can effectively present and respond to questions from internal teams and external parties including clients and reinsurers
+ Manages and meets deadlines for multiple projects
+ Focuses on quality, pays attention to details
+ Able to think critically and problem solve; tests for and identifies potential errors and issues independently
+ Demonstrates proficiency with financial data
+ Can learn in-house software and applications quickly
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
+ ARe (Associate in Reinsurance). Otherwise required to obtain within 18 months of your hire date
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $64,000.00 to $70,000.00 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is NOT eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans.
