Summary: Seeking an Account Sales Manager to develop and manage a portfolio of local/regional accounts within the packaging industry.
Job Requirements:
4-6 years in business-to-business outside sales, preferably in the printing/packaging industry
Experience selling to manufacturers in multiple industries
Valid Driver's license
Proven ability to achieve sales quotas
Willingness and ability to travel as necessary
Preferred Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Highly organized with the ability to shift priorities based on customer needs
Motivated to build excellent client relationships
Job Responsibilities:
Identify business opportunities by evaluating prospects in the industry
Research and analyze sales options
Establish contact and develop relationships with prospects; recommend solutions
Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance
Identify product improvements or new products by staying current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
Learn new design innovations both graphic and structural
Understand customers' manufacturing processes as they relate to shipping containers
Negotiate terms for price increases and decreases
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices
Pay Details: $105,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
