Summary: Seeking an Account Sales Manager with experience in the corrugated box or pulp & paper industry to manage and develop a portfolio of accounts.
Job Requirements:
Must live within an hour of Winchester, VA
Corrugated box or pulp & paper background required
Must inquire about non-compete agreements if from packaging manufacturing
Must ask if previously applied to DS Smith
Preferred Skills:
4-6 years in business-to-business outside sales, preferably in printing/packaging industry
Experience selling to manufacturers in multiple industries
Current driver's license
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Highly organized with ability to shift priorities based on customer needs
Motivated to build excellent client relationships
Proven ability to achieve sales quotas
Willing and able to travel as necessary
Job Responsibilities:
Identify business opportunities by evaluating prospects' positions in the industry
Research and analyze sales options
Establish contact and develop relationships with prospects, recommending solutions
Maintain client relationships by providing support, information, and guidance
Identify product improvements or new products by staying current on industry trends and competitors
Learn new design innovations both graphic and structural
Understand customers' manufacturing processes as related to shipping containers
Negotiate terms for price increases and decreases
Pay: 105000-120000
