**Your Opportunity**
As an Account Services Manager (ASM) your primary responsibility is to maintain and enhance customer relationships by providing exceptional service and support. This includes regular virtual and in-person meetings with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving. The ASM will also analyze customer collections to identify opportunities, stay current on EBSCO’s ePackage services, and understand customer workflows to match EBSCO services to their needs.
This remote role is U.S.-based in the Western US.
**What You'll Do**
+ Meet at least twice a year with customers spending over a specific threshold with EBSCO in person and/or via video conferencing
+ Maintain relationships with customers by providing support, information, and guidance
+ Identify potential sales opportunities and communicate these in a timely fashion to sales staff and management
+ Analyze a customer’s collection to identify any ePackages currently ordered with other vendors or direct with publishers that could be serviced by EBSCO
+ Maintain a detailed understanding of EBSCO's ePackage services as well as ePackages offered by the top 20 publishers
+ Understand customer workflows, processes, and challenges with ePackages (traditional and transformative), eJournal, and print serials ordering and management
+ Participate in the development and presentation of major sales proposals and assist with the transition of major new accounts
+ Actively participate in relevant local, state, regional, and national industry associations and meetings
**Your Team**
You will be welcomed as a valued member of the Subscription Services Division (SSD) Field Team, a collaborative group of individuals that includes 6 Account Service Managers and 8 Regional Sales Managers. As an Account Services Manager, you will collaborate closely with your sales counterparts, liaise between the field and our internal departments, and have the ongoing support of your colleagues. You will play a crucial role in strengthening customer relationships, ensuring their success, and contributing to the overall growth of the SSD division. **About You**

+ 5+ years of experience with serials librarianship and the information needs of libraries
+ Understanding of library automation, automated serials control, and automated information flow between EIS and ILS vendors
+ Strong service orientation coupled with determination to produce results
+ Must be located in the Western US. Preferably located in Los Angeles, CA
**What sets you apart**
+ Master’s degree in Library and Information Science
+ Knowledge of library collection development, technical services, publishing, and/or integrated library systems
+ Use or familiarity with CRM software
+ Strong organizational skills
+ Strong self-motivation, critical thinking, and organizational skills; thrives in a fast-paced environment with flexible and creative approaches
**Pay Range**
USD $82,990.00 - USD $118,560.00 /Yr.
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location.
