Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic Account Service Representative to support over 50 customer accounts. The ideal candidate will manage processing orders in SAGE, maintain accounts, and handle all day-to-day correspondence primarily through email, but also by answering and following up on calls when necessary. Upselling to current customers is a key aspect of this role. The representative will deal directly with businesses rather than consumers.
Responsibilities
+ Process orders by handling purchase orders from customers and entering them accurately.
+ Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
+ Handle sample requests from sales or customers, ensuring timely shipment.
+ Properly invoice purchase orders once they have shipped.
+ Follow standard operating procedures for customer complaints, returns, and credits, working with various departments to investigate and process them.
+ Assist with answering phones when needed, despite having a receptionist.
+ Provide required information to the sales department and customers, including document requests for specific ingredients, pricing, and shipment dates for purchase orders.
+ Monitor and resolve customer inquiries efficiently within a set time frame.
+ Collaborate daily with managers, purchasing, technical, production, accounting, and sales/inside sales teams.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Experience in administrative roles.
+ Ability to handle inbound calls and order fulfillment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Customer service experience.
+ Experience with inside sales and upselling.
+ Data entry and order processing experience.
+ Comfortable working with computers.
Work Environment
Our team enjoys a laid-back and team-oriented environment with an upbeat atmosphere. Although situated in cubicles, team members frequently walk around and communicate with one another. The office maintains a business casual dress code. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.23
