Account Specialist (79351-2)

Directly report to and assist to Account Managers and Sales Manager. Generates sales of company products with selected accounts through direct telephone contact and personal contact by performing the following duties.
2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Responsible for making every effort to meet the sales goals established for assigned accounts.
• Provides potential customers and/or existing customers with product information, including pricing, delivery, availability and technical details.
• Within guidelines and company policies, makes pricing calculations based on criteria such as quantity.
• Initiates sales orders for processing.
• Interfaces with credit regarding customer credit status.
• Maintains current customer information including sales contract terms and other pertinent account details. Reviews annual customer contracts.
• Maintains customer orders in regards to incorporating changes and updating orders.
• Initiates quotation requests and expedites quote responses from manufacturing, customers and/or sales representatives.
• Acts as liaison between Customers, Sales Representatives, Engineering, Quality Control and Production.
• Provides interface and professional support for field sales force.
• Coordinates and supports Outside Sales Representatives, as assigned.
• Visits selected accounts as directed by Sales Manager.
• Issues reports to Sales manager detailing account activities.
• Attends company sales meetings.
3. REQUIREMENT
3-5 years of sales experience in dealing with OEM and Tier 1 companies within automotive industries.
