What the day will look like
In this role you will work on US business for our Canadian clients. You will assist the Account Executives and Associate Account Executives on assigned accounts, managing key processes that serve clients (including complex clients) and undertaking the client-facing and internal activities related to these processes. Account Specialists will also assist Brokers as necessary particularly on Commercial Risk business.

Day to day
+ Work successfully in a team-based environment where they can be collaborative, and accountable to multi-tasking within a number of ongoing projects
+ For certain assigned accounts, the colleague will maintain a lead position from the team to negotiate and secure coverage terms for global property & liability to the satisfaction of those clients
+ Work to continuously improve their technical expertise with regard to international property & casualty insurance in order to contribute to the team’s success
+ Maintain primary ownership of certain correspondence with Aon’s overseas network
+ Help clients manage cash-flow including premiums as well as Aon revenue
+ Assemble best-in-class coverage submissions in preparation for program renewals
+ Support special projects (due diligence, stewardship reports, etc)
+ Manage the execution of coverage documentation as needed
+ Maintain open items lists on a variety of projects for assigned clients
+ Populate and quality-control of certain Aon databases
+ Assume responsibility for some aspects of top-line revenue / account profitability, including becoming proficient with pricing tools and techniques and updating that data to management.
+ Continue to develop technical elements of the job, in order to confidently articulate the merits of our team’s role to internal or external clients
+ Focus on learning & improving both technical & tactical elements to the job which requires strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and manage projects to completion
+ Champion a particular AGCN-department initiative
+ Act as a resource for other team members
You bring knowledge and expertise.
Desired Experience:
+ Experience in International Property & Casualty coverage would be ideal but not necessary
+ Maintain a current insurance brokers license, or be able to obtain one within the first 120 days of employment
+ Experienced with MSOffice tools and offer strong communication & presentation skills
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree desired or equivalent work experience working within the Property & Casualty marketplace
Pay Transparency Laws
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $65,000 - $75,000. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
