Account Specialist I
Aon is hiring for an Account Specialist I position for our Private Risk Management team. This is a hybrid position located in either Jacksonville, FL, Bannockburn, IL, or Chicago, IL. What the day will look like + Maintains effective and productive relationships with clients + Perform necessary activities to support Account Executives with processing of renewals, processing client invoices, requesting auto IDs, assisting with surplus lines processes, initiating endorsement requests, and processing other client request and account servicing functions + Provide excellent customer service while answering in-bound phone calls on a toll-free line + Seeks assistance from senior team members when confronted with unfamiliar or complex processing transactions + Ensure system of record (Nexsure) is accurate and current to ensure outputs and client deliverables will be produced according to guidlines and policy detail + Understands and works in alginment with the Aon Leadership Model and its pillars of Client Value, Unmatched Teams, Innovations, Results and Values + Ensures operational excellence, including adherence to service management requirements (e.g., Transparency & Disclosure, Aon Compliance Requirements, and Client Promise Methodology) Skills and experience that will lead to success: + 1-3 years of personal insurance experience is a plus, will also consider an individual with a newly acquired secondary education + Must have appropriate insurance brokers license (P&C) or ability to acquire it within 6 months of hire + Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with external and internal clients on client servicing activites + Understands operation processes and methodologies; shown ability to work effectively with moderate guidance and supervision + Must have strong Excel skills to import/export dates, strong Word skills, some v-look up experience a plus + Successfully operates in a fast-paced output driven environment that requires staff members to multi-task, react quickly and perform tasks that are not routine Education: + High School Diploma/GED required How we support our colleagues: In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
