Account Specialist II

Aon is hiring for an Account Specialist II position for our Private Risk Management team.
This is a hybrid position located in either Jacksonville, FL, Bannockburn, IL, or Chicago, IL.
The Account Specialist II will provide support to Account Executives on assigned accounts, managing- key processes, and undertaking client-facing and internal activities as they relate to the Aon Private Risk Management business group. This is achieved through effective communication and partnership with our internal and outsourced partners.

What the day will look like:
+ Maintains effective and productive relationships with Account Executives and clients
+ Serves independently in a client-facing capacity on matters of moderate importance and complexity.
+ Manages client open actions lists and responds to ad-hoc requests
+ Assists Account Executives in completing renewal reviews, performing quoting and marketing of new and existing accounts, preparing summaries of insurance, proposals, quote disclosure reports, and surplus lines filings
+ Identify and resolve accounting issues and billing discrepancies, documenting claims, processing endorsements, reviewing expirations, appraisals, and completing other client requests and account servicing functions.
+ Understands and works in alignment with the Aon Leadership Model and its pillars of Client Value, Unmatched Teams, Innovation, Results and Values
+ Ensures operational excellence, including adherence to service management requirements (e.g., Transparency & Disclosure, Aon Compliance Requirements, and Client Promise Methodology)
+ May provide guidance, mentoring and support to a less senior account specialist
+ Performs related duties as assigned
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
+ At least 3-5 years of successful personal lines insurance experience, preferably with high net worth accounts/clients
+ Active P&C license in home state
+ Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with external and internal clients on client servicing activities
+ Understands operation processes and methodologies; shown ability to work effectively with limited guidance and supervision
+ Must have strong Excel skills to import/export data
+ Successfully operations in a fast-pace output driven environment that requires staff members to multi-task, react quickly, and perform tasks that are not routine
+ CPRIA, ARM, or other relevant insurance designations are preferred
Education:
+ High School Diploma or GED required, Associate's degree preferred

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $55,000 to $67,500 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
