Responsibilities:

Support execution of broad communications strategy for opportunities with high level pharmaceutical client in the vaccines space.Help maintain day-to-day cross-functional project management ensuring timely delivery of flawless materials and counsel to support (but not be limited to) celebrity, influencer and patient engagement, disease awareness (unbranded) and branded communications/ milestones, media relations and PR events. Should have understanding and experience in the celebrity/influencer space. This person should understand the consumer influencer space and entertainment space, including contracts, vetting and management.Write communications materials such as influencer and celebrity concepts/script/social posts, influencer guidelines, press releases, backgrounders, key messages, internal communications/leadership pieces.Review and oversee development of timelines, calendars, action plans, runs of show, agendas, call notes, media monitoring and resulting reporting, and support budget management and monthly billing processes. Maintain day to day contact and share project updates with clients via email and on weekly calls; proactively offer and successfully implement new ideas and solutions to meet client needs and drive projects forward.This person will regularly engage and collaborate with agency partners – including talent brokers, patients and creative/production experts.Importantly, there is a lot of opportunity within a rapidly expanding agency to learn multiple skills and take on new responsibilities to quickly advance their careerSuccess factors: Must be able to work collaboratively and be a proactive communicator; it’s important that this person be a driver and self-motivated. Given the account moves at a fast pace with a large team, it is important that the individual has high attention to detail, organization and proactivity managing up and downA strong communicator, writer and strategist, the ideal candidate will be a high energy, collaborative individual who can manage teams while also rolling up their sleeves to work directly with clients to solve problems and implement programs

Requirements:

4-5 years of experience in healthcare communications/PR/marketingClient relations expertise and familiarity with branded and unbranded pharmaceutical product and disease awareness communications and influencer/celebrity partnerships in the pharmaceutical space; Experience in supporting regulatory approval milestone comms /new product launchesStrong writing and oral communications skillsStrong project management skills, including team delegation, timeline and budget tracking, quality control and logistics planning, attention to detailAbility to juggle/prioritize multiple priorities and thrive in fast-paced environmentMust be enthusiastic and have a passion for healthcare/life sciencesMust be energized by being a member of a highly entrepreneurial work environment that rewards and fosters personal initiative and teamwork

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $95k to $105k The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
