Job Description Summary

PS Associate Technical Consultant is responsible for the design and execution of configuration activities related to NCR’s Hospitality product set including Aloha Configuration Center, Insight, NCR Back Office, and additional NCR Cloud Applications within the Aloha Ecosystem.PS Associate Technical Consultant works with Project Managers to translate clients’ requirements into functional POS configurations for SMB Hospitality customers. PS Associate Technical Consultant implements projects related to operational management and operational process improvement. PS Associate Technical Consultant is responsible for providing technical services and processes to meet client needs.PS Associate Technical Consultant position can be customer–facing as needed.PS Associate Technical Consultant completes the software version upgrades.PS Associate Technical Consultant completes the Quality Assurance Efforts.The position involves daily interaction with cross-functional teams & team members to execute service delivery and address any issues and concerns.

Essential Role Functions

PS Associate Technical Consultant implements solution-build processes for new customers based on deliverables provided by the NCR SMB Organization.  PS Associate Technical Consultant prepares these solutions for large-scale customer deployment.PS Associate Technical Consultant test and validates the functionality of Aloha software solutions relative to their defined implementation and deployment processes.PS Associate Technical Consultant builds new sites/locations for Aloha customers in Aloha Configuration Center and NCR Back Office to support the implementation of new store openings, POS replacement, or change-of-ownership activities.PS Associate Technical Consultant triage and resolves configuration-related issues for new customers as they are raised during the deployment process.PS Technical Consultant works with other areas of the Enterprise Deployment team to ensure a smooth end-to-end customer deployment experience.PS Associate Technical Consultant is completing the software version upgrades, downgrades, or product uninstalls.PS Associate Technical Consultant must keep all the projects and tasks up to the most recent date (daily) with clear notes and concise next steps, in any given service tool, such as Quickbase, or Salesforce

Basic skills and requirements

PS Associate Technical Consultant is Fluent in English.Must have some IT experience in database management or similar IT job experience.Speed and efficiency.PS Associate Technical Consultant will work in multiple NCR and other software applications; Configuration Center, NCR Back Office, Aloha Online/Digital Ordering, Order Point, and other products within NCR’s Aloha product suite, including Aloha Quick Service and Aloha Table Service.PS Associate Technical Consultant uses Salesforce and QuickBase, or any other CRM tools aligned with company standards to track and update projects and tasks.Will execute configuration changes to Aloha products in response to new client promotions, pricing changes, or other updates that directly affect the in-store operation of the Point-of-Sale system.Will execute configuration changes to software in response to project technical requirements.Troubleshoot issues that arise from clients and other team members and escalate them appropriately.Maintain responsibility for the execution of project plans.Be able to work in a diverse team including individuals in other countries, of various technical and process skill levels.Identify areas for internal process improvement.Serve as backfill for other team members during peak times or when staff availability is minimal.The working hours after the completion of training will be assigned depending on the client's assignment. The working week is Monday through Friday – 40hrs a week.Other job-related duties as assigned.
