This position is located in Loveland, CO. There are two vacancies available for this role.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Account Reconciliations, Period End Close, Allocations, and Other Accounting, the individual is responsible for the accounting related to all aspects of payroll, benefits, severance, incentive plans, and payroll taxes for the North American Corporate and other business units. The role works across multiple geographically dispersed departments including the Accounting Center of Excellence, Payroll, Human Resources (HR), Human Resources Service Center (HRSC) and IT.
What You Will Do:
Prepare and process daily clearings related to payroll cash and open item managed general ledger (GL) accounts and post adjusting entries as necessary Prepare and post monthly entries related to cost allocations and other recurring entries related to payroll and benefits accounts Review payroll transactions, payroll related accruals and share-based compensation balances to ensure these are properly calculated and accurately posted to the GL Prepare account reconciliations for all payroll and benefits related balance sheet accounts and research any reconciling items or outstanding issues on a timely manner Work with Payroll personnel to ensure all payroll related tax returns and filings are accurate and any adjustments are reflected in the GL accounts Participate in system updates including payroll related support pack testing Prepare/update procedural documentation for various payroll and benefits related processes, reports and inquiries Support business units and shared services with payroll related information requests and special projects, as needed
What You Will Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 3-5 years of relevant work experience Strong communicator with exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of employee information Demonstrates initiative, problem solving and ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet reporting requirements Process improvement mindset Understanding of payroll and payroll processes and experience with SAP payroll and/or Oracle will be considered an asset
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range $59,300 - $110,200 annually. This range is estimated for Accountant, Payroll Accounting role in Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.
