This position is located in Loveland, CO and is required to be on-site.

What you will do:
 

Perform daily analysis of gross margin and inventory reports for proprietary products companies. Review costing and process order variances as well as manufacturing cost absorption for reasonableness; working closely with Plant Managers and Proprietary Business Operations Personnel to resolve any issues and ensure accurate reporting of margins and inventory transactions. Assist Decision Support teams in researching any inventory transactions resulting in questionable margins or inventory levels. Complete monthly SOX reports to ensure proper internal controls over inventory transactions. Perform validity checks on inventory adjustments submitted by the plants. Assist plant personnel with required yearly physical counts of inventory at each plant – including participation in physical counts of inventory, reconciliation of inventory counts and adjusting of variances. Administer accounting functions, including running month end costing close, journal entries, account reconciliation and transactional review. Special projects as assigned by Manager, Retail, Proprietary Products Accounting or other Proprietary Products Accounting Management. Approximately 10% travel is possible for visits to Plants and Storage locations and attendance at inventory counts/recounts.

What you will bring:
 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field. 2+ years of practical experience. Working knowledge of ERP systems. Proven ability to collaborate effectively across different operating segments within the organization. Ability to prioritize and work with competing deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Power BI. Ability to understand and analyze issues and apply accounting standards to reflect accurate financial reporting. Strong integrity and business ethics. Previous SAP experience is preferred.

 

Compensation & Benefits:
 

Salary Range $59,300 - $110,200/annually. This range is estimated for Accountant, Retail, Proprietary Products Accounting in Loveland, Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program(s) where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee.  Details will be discussed through the application process.
