Position Type: Full Time Details: POSITION OVERVIEW: Maintain all aspects of the general ledger for accuracy, timeliness and completeness. Pays:$65,000-$70,000 per year KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: + Maintain general ledger accounting functions + Reconcile assigned intercompany accounts + Reconcile assigned account receivables + Prepare bank reconciliations + Prepare cost report schedules and reports + Maintain fixed asset schedules and record monthly depreciation expense + Prepare and post monthly entries closing entries + Close-out accrued balance sheet accounts + Manage government grants as assigned + Prepare audit schedules and work with external auditors + Produce ad hoc analysis reports and projects as requested + Participate in the preparation of annual budgets + Research with regard to appropriately recording accounting transactions with document support + Other duties as assigned by Supervisors. REQUIREMENTS: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, + 5+ years of progressive accounting experience required + Non- Profit experience a plus + Knowledge of GAAP and Uniform Guidance cost principles + Advanced Microsoft Excel skills + Excellent verbal and written communication + Experience with Fund-Ez and Sage Fixed Asset a plus + Have you ever worked with Acacia Network or any of our affiliate?
