POSITION OVERVIEW:                                                                                                                                    Maintain all aspects of the general ledger for accuracy, timeliness and completeness. Pays:$65,000-$70,000 per year KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:                                                                                                                      Maintain general ledger accounting functions Reconcile assigned intercompany accountsReconcile assigned account receivablesPrepare bank reconciliationsPrepare cost report schedules and reportsMaintain fixed asset schedules and record monthly depreciation expensePrepare and post monthly entries closing entriesClose-out accrued balance sheet accountsManage government grants as assignedPrepare audit schedules and work with external auditorsProduce ad hoc analysis reports and projects as requestedParticipate in the preparation of annual budgetsResearch with regard to appropriately recording accounting transactions with document supportOther duties as assigned by Supervisors.REQUIREMENTS:                                                                                                                                              Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience requiredNon- Profit experience a plusKnowledge of GAAP and Uniform Guidance cost principlesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent verbal and written communicationExperience with Fund-Ez and Sage Fixed Asset a plusHave you ever worked with Acacia Network or any of our affiliate?
