As an Accountant with PCB Piezotronics, Inc., you will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the finance department including: Preparation of monthly schedules, trial balance, financial statements and ad hoc reports. Prepares and reports schedules to maintain various internal accounting reports and financial controls. Responsible for basic maintenance of accounting functions in the Syteline ERP system. Prepares ad hoc analytical support on project assignments through use of the ERP system & other electronic analytical tools and software. Promotes teamwork, cooperation and commitment to “Total Customer Satisfaction” among team members

Additional Duties: 

Monthly Close-Assist in the monthly close of the ERP system.  Prepares calculations and records recurring and non-recurring monthly journal entry adjustments.  Maintains schedules critical to the accuracy of the monthly financial statements.Financial Statements-Retrieves account transactions, prepares adjustments, and downloads financial information into acceptable reporting formats to be used in the creation of income statements and balance sheets.SOX-Prepares reports and calculations to ensure adherence of internal controls established by management.  Performs duties within the scope of controls established under section 404 (SOX).G/L Accounts-Reconciliation of all assigned balance sheet accounts in accordance with department schedules.  Prepare routine and non-routine adjustments to accounts to insure financial reporting accuracy.Run system reports and data dumps to develop analytical spreadsheets to be used by various departments throughout the company.Creates miscellaneous reports & provides support as needed for Senior Accounting team, Controller and Senior Leadership team.Provides support for internal and external audit requests.Completes State Sales/use Tax returns as well as other statutory compliance filings.Understands and works within the company ISO 9001 quality system.Performs other related duties as assigned.
