The role of the Accountant is a critical addition to the Finance/Accounting Team. The Accountant will have significant responsibilities in the monthly and annual general ledger close process and will maintain various reconciliations and reports.  This role will work directly with various functional areas of the company and will have a direct impact in maintaining the financial integrity of a growing and exciting organization.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate HQ in Northbrook, IL. This individual will typically work in the office 2 -3 days a week. This role is an Individual Contributor position

A day in the life as an Accountant…

Performing monthly journal entries and assisting in monthly and annual general ledger closesCollaborating with the rest of the team to close each period timely and accuratelyConducting various account reconciliations and analysis Preparing various schedules for audits, tax, or to fulfill other reporting requirementsManaging and maintaining ad hoc reporting and special projectsAnalyzing monthly and quarterly expensesProviding financial reports to various departments or divisionsResearching accounting issues and providing recommendationsProviding reporting and analysis on various accounts
